Interim MDS Coordinator - Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $2,200 *The above pay package is an estimate, please contact our team to put together your personalized pay package, as a variety of factors can influence your total pay.* LeaderStat has a new opportunity for an MDS Coordinator (RN) in Columbus, Ohio. We’re looking for a driven, experienced MDS nurse who can commit to a 30-day contract in a skilled nursing facility. When you join the LeaderStat team, you’ll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding, travel arrangements, and assist with any questions along the way. Job Duties Assessing resident needs and coordinating individualized care plans based on assessment results Collaborate with all departments to ensure that care plan guidelines are followed Ability to accurately determine PDPM categories, HIPPS codes Ensuring that the nursing facility is receiving accurate and maximum reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid Qualifications Successful completion of an MDS training program In-depth working knowledge of RAI user manual, as well as PDPM/HIPPS Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or in an eligible Nurse Compact State Knowledge of current state, federal, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations Exceptional attention to detail Strong computer literacy and competency skills Up-to-date clinical compliance Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA) Two-step TB test Physical exam within the last 12 months Successful completion of MDS Assessment via Relias Benefits Weekly
